Privacy Policy

We only collect what you give us or what the platform needs to work.

• Account. Your name, email address and login details when you sign in or create an account.
• Listings and profiles. What you enter when you list a business, post a job, create a freelancer profile or offer a service: business or display name, description, city, languages, contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email, website, social links), photos, skills, country of origin and year of aliyah if you choose to add them.
• Job applications. Your name, email, phone number, CV file, cover note and portfolio link when you apply for a job.
• Service requests. Your name, email, phone number, message and budget when you contact a freelancer through OlimPact.
• Reviews. Your rating, review text, photos you attach, and reports you file on reviews.
• Ezra conversations. The messages you send to Ezra and its replies.
• Newsletter and job alerts. Your email address and the job categories you choose.
• Saved jobs. Jobs you bookmark.
• Payments. If you buy a paid listing plan, the payment is handled by Stripe or Wix Payments. We receive the plan, amount, status and a customer reference. We never see or store your full card number.
• Listing statistics. We count views of business listings and clicks on their contact buttons, so owners can see how their listing performs. These counts are not linked to who viewed or clicked.
• Usage data. Our hosting provider, Base44, automatically records basic usage information when you use the app: when you visit and sign in, how long a session lasts, your device type and operating system, and your approximate country. If you are signed in, this is linked to your account. We use it to understand how OlimPact is used and to fix problems. It is kept for about 60 days.
• On your device. We store your language choice and your login session in your browser or app storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

• To run the platform: show listings, deliver applications to employers and requests to freelancers, publish reviews.
• To let Ezra answer your questions using the platform's listings.
• To send the emails you asked for: the newsletter, job alerts, and messages about your account, listings or applications.
• To process payments for paid listing plans and manage subscriptions.
• To keep the platform safe: moderate reviews, handle reports, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To understand how listings perform and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Some of what you add is public by design:

• Business listings, job posts, freelancer profiles and services, including the contact details you put on them, are visible to anyone.
• Reviews are public and show your name from your account, along with any photos you attach.
• Job applications, including your CV, are visible only to you, the employer who posted that job, and OlimPact administrators.
• Service requests are visible only to you, the freelancer you contacted, and OlimPact administrators.
• Ezra conversations are visible only to you and, where needed for support or safety, OlimPact administrators.

Only put contact details on a public listing that you are comfortable being public.

We rely on a small number of companies to run OlimPact. They process data on our behalf, only as needed to provide their service:

• Base44. Hosting, database, login, file storage (including CVs and photos), email delivery, usage analytics, and the infrastructure that runs Ezra.
• AI model providers. Ezra's messages are processed by third-party AI language models through Base44 to generate replies. Please don't share sensitive personal information with Ezra that you don't need to.
• Stripe. Payments and subscriptions for Standard and Pro plans.
• Wix Payments. One-time payments for Basic listings.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as long as we need it to provide the service. When you delete your account, the data described in section 6 is deleted. Payment records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.

• Delete your account in the app. Open the account menu and choose Delete Account. This removes your account together with your business listings, job posts and the applications they received, services, freelancer profile, applications you sent, service requests, saved jobs, job alerts and reviews.
• Edit or remove content at any time from My Listings, My Services, My Applications, or the review itself.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter or job alerts by emailing shalom@olimpact.com.
• Access, correction, a copy of your data, or deletion of anything not covered above (for example Ezra conversations or a newsletter subscription): email shalom@olimpact.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, including Israel and the European Union, you may have further rights under local privacy law, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Our service providers may store and process data on servers outside Israel, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect data with industry-standard safeguards.

Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access rules limit who can read applications, requests and other private records. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at shalom@olimpact.com.

OlimPact is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email.
